Harvia has a super popular sauna heater lineup, Harvia Virta. Sauna enthusiasts in the US have been loving the Harvia Virta sauna heater for decades, thanks to its elegant black design and minimal safety distances.

HUUM core is a direct answer against the Harvia Virta. HUUM has been developing the Core for years, and the Core was finally introduced to the European market in 2023. Since then, HUUM has been perfecting the Core so it’s ready for the demanding North-American market. In 2024, it’s finally happening. HUUM Core will be available at The Sauna Heater in March 2024.

What makes HUUM Core special, is its customizable design. HUUM Core can be customized to fit your sauna design and it comes in two different variants: Core Black & Core Body.

HUUM Core Body

HUUM Core Body offers a personalized design that will fit just your sauna. You can choose from different colored slats for the top rims. You can also choose the material for the wooden side panels.

Premade wooden side panels will be available in Alder, Aspen and Thermo-Aspen. In case you want real customizability, you can have the wooden side panels ‘tattooed’ with your company's logo, your name, or any design you want. Only your mind is the limit here. If you prefer, you can produce your own site panels from any wooden material you like. For the real DIY enthusiasts, HUUM Core is sold just as a CORE!

Thanks to the small safety distances that HUUM Core offers, you can embed the heater into your sauna benches even without any side panels, just by choosing the top rims that fit your design.

HUUM Core Black

HUUM Core black is the option with stylish aluminum case. This design fits perfectly with your minimalistic sauna design. Safety distances are equally minimal with aluminum case, only 1.5 inches to combustible materials.

Core Doesn’t Forget HUUMs Branded ‘Leil’

Despite its compact design, HUUM Core still produces mild even steam, which is called ‘Leil’ by the Estonians who make these heaters. Core has a rock capacity of 66lbs, which guarantees unbelievable Leil.

Quick Heat Up Time With Minimal Safety Distances

HUUM Core has air flowing effectively inside the heater, which allows the heat to distribute into the sauna quickly.

As with all other HUUM sauna heaters, you can reach the crazy maximum temperature 230f with HUUM Core as well. We don’t necessarily recommend you to heat your sauna that hot, because it’s not healthy for you, but at least you have an option to do so. You can choose any temperature from the UKU control panel between 104f-230f.

All HUUM Core models have minimal safety distances of 1.5 inches to combustible materials, thanks to its aluminum construction.

As we can tell from the specifications, all HUUM Core configurations are physically the same size. Only thing changing is the power output of the heater. We always recommend getting as large of a heater as possible by your electrical network. The reason being, that your sauna heats up faster and your heater lasts longer, when it’s rather oversized than undersized.

HUUM Core Control System

Just like every other HUUM sauna heater lineup, HUUM Core will be using the proven UKU control system. UKU is available as WiFi enabled, and local version. While the local one will be a super easy option to control your sauna, the WiFi enabled UKU just allows you one more option, to turn your sauna on from wherever you are with an app on your phone, without taking away the handy control panel.

UKU is available in multiple designs, so there sure is a suitable design for every one's home.
