Harvia Virta HL160E Heater

Create a communal space to enjoy traditional Finnish sauna with the Harvia Virta Pro HL160E 16.0 kW Electric Sauna Heater. Perfect for larger saunas, this heater supports interiors ranging from 600 - 918 ft3 (adj.). The heater elements are separated from the 200 lbs. of stone, making maintenance easy and providing excellent airflow for faster heating. Under the right conditions, this heater can create temperatures up to 194℉.

Like all of Harvia’s heaters, the Harvia Virta Pro is made for water-pouring, bringing the soothing power of lӧyly to every session. The stainless steel body is safe to mount directly to floors or embed in the benches to support your sauna’s layout while keeping the stones close by to manage steam levels.

Harvia Virta Controller

The Harvia Virta uses an external controller to dial-in the perfect sauna environment, every time. There are two options available with this package: the Xenio CX45 and the Fenix FX45.

  • Xenio CX45: Touchscreen controller that gives you the power to adjust your sauna and schedule sessions through the MyHarvia App.
  • Fenix FX45: Touchscreen controller with integrated AI that adapts to deliver the perfect sauna experience. Includes 3 customizable heating profiles and allows for scheduling and adjustment through the MyHarvia App.

These controllers can be linked to the sauna’s lighting, ventilation, fans, and timers, offering an all-in-one sauna control destination. Both the Xenio CX45 and Fenix FX45 are compatible with the MyHarvia App, giving you the power to adjust and operate your sauna right from your smartphone.

The Harvia Virta Pro is recommended for saunas ranging from 600 - 918 ft3 (adj.).

  • You must calculate your sauna’s Adjusted Cubic Feet to choose the right heater size. This accounts for cold surfaces like glass, tile, and natural rock wall segments.

  • All our sauna heaters ship for free from Chicago via UPS or FedEx.
  • Heaters are typically shipped within 2 - 4 business days.
  • It will take approximately 1 - 2 weeks for your heater to arrive depending on where you live. If there are any delays in shipping, we will reach out to you directly with the new projected arrival date.

Cancellations

We will issue a 100% refund on orders canceled within 4 business days. If an order is canceled after this 4-day grace period ends, there will be a 3% cancellation fee. Please reach out to our support team if you need to cancel your order after it has shipped.

Returns

Our heaters include a 30-day return policy.

You can return this product if:

  • You initiate your return within 30 days of product delivery date.
  • The product is unused and in its original packaging.
  • Installation has not been attempted.

If these requirements are met, your return will be accepted. However, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. After we receive the return and it has been inspected at our warehouse, we will refund your original payment method in accordance with the policy listed above.

Setting up

The Harvia Virta is shipped on a wooden pallet. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped out. All our shipments are fully insured. Harvia products are shipped from Chicago. The pallet will be delivered to your curbside. The carrier will call you to set up the delivery of the pallet before delivery. Shipping is free. For white glow delivery or express shipping options, contact us.
Harvia Virta Pro HL160E will require 240V/1PH electrical line. The heater runs on separate circuits, you will need two 40 Amp circuit breakers, a total of 67 Amps and your electrician needs to use wire size 4 AWG.
Harvia Virta Pro HL160E sauna heater is suitable for home saunas up to 918 adjusted cubic feet. Use our calculator or contact us if you want to verify the size of your sauna.
