This HUUM Steel is the largest from the Steel range. The Steel is a classy and powerful pick for a modern home sauna. With its large stone capacity for its size, you will achieve a nice even steam that heats the whole cabin. The design is inspired by the strength and simplicity of steel with a modern touch. Even with its strong steel shell, you can see the round stones that lie within.

Certificate of Compliance

The size of HUUM Steel requires it to be shipped on a wooden pallet. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped out. All our shipments are fully insured. HUUM products are shipped from Chicago. The pallet will be delivered to your curbside. Carrier will call you to set up the delivery of the pallet before delivery. Shipping is free. For white glow delivery or express shipping options, contact us.

Cancellations

You can cancel your order, before the product has shipped, free of charge. We will initiate a 100% refund on orders canceled before shipping.

Returns

The HUUM products have a 30 day return policy. Meaning that you can return the product as long as you let us know that you want to initiate a return during the 30 day period starting from the date the product is delivered to you.

You can return this HUUM product if it is unused. Meaning you have not tried to install the product, nor used it in any way. If you have received your product with free shipping, you’re responsible for the return shipping cost. You will also have to pay a restocking fee of 35% from the final purchase price of the item you return. In case you return your product, once we have inspected it at the warehouse, and verified it’s unused, we will refund the card you used to purchase the HUUM according to this policy.

Hot Steel

HUUM electric sauna heaters get hotter than any other in North America, reaching up to 230°F. They use SGS standards, which are fully accepted in the US, allowing saunas to achieve desired temperatures effortlessly.

Other sauna heater companies are UL-listed and can't go above 194°F. This often results in lower temperatures at bench level, making it difficult to achieve the desired sauna experience.

Rock Capacity

The Steel has a much larger rock capacity when compared to Cliff. Instead of the 5 boxes of stones that fit the Cliff, the Steel has a capacity of 10 boxes, doubling the amount of stones.

The more stones there are, the softer the steam is rather than sharp steam. This is because each stone’s temperature is lower the more stones are in the heater, providing a softer, more even steam.

Superior Steam

The amount of metal used in HUUM sauna heaters is very small – this ensures that the majority of the heat derives from the stones, and not from the metal. This maximizes the proportion of beneficial negative ions in the air, which is also high in the traditional wood-heated sauna.

This and the exceptionally large quantity of sauna rocks are the secret ingredients of the curative, gentle and long-lasting steam of our sauna heaters.

Sauna Control

HUUM sauna control system has 2 different configurations; local and WiFi enabled. When you have a local control system, you can control the sauna from the control panel placed on the wall outside of your sauna room.

When you have a WiFi-enabled system, you can control the sauna through an app on your phone (regardless of your location), or from the control panel itself.

Electrical Requirements

HUUM Steel will require 240V/1PH electrical line. In case you want to wire with 208V, the power output will go down by 25%. You will need a 50 Amp circuit breaker and your electrician needs to use wire size 6 AWG. You can see the wiring diagram for the system here.

Sauna Sizing

This HUUM Steel sauna heater is suitable for home saunas up to 600 adjusted cubic feet. Use our calculator or contact if you want to verify the size of your sauna.
