More about the materials used in the Auroom Terra S

There are three interior bench material options: Alder, Aspen and Thermo-Aspen. All of these materials are excellent choices, the only question is what tone you want to set for the interior?

For the exterior there are two options: Black Thermo-Pine and Natural Thermo-Pine. The Black Thermo-Pine is coated with translucent black paint for a modern look.

Auroom Terra S Construction

The exterior of the Terra is made of vertically placed Thermo-Pine in a natural or black look. The black Thermo-Pine creates more contrast for the interior which can be viewed through a beautifully shaped tempered glass window or the door.

In the interior we have an L-shaped bench and 2-tier benching in case it gets too hot on the top bench. The interior looks sleek thanks to invisible fasteners and LED lighting embedded under the top bench.

The interior walls are made out of horizontally placed waxed Dark-Gray Alder, making the colour of the benches pop that is made of Alder, Aspen or Thermo-Aspen.

Lighting

Auroom Terra comes with adjustable LED lighting.

The interior lighting is embedded under the top bench.

Lights can be adjusted with a remote control unit that you can mount on the front of the sauna.

Lighting is dimmable.

Flooring

The floor is designed to match the overall style. Its grids are solid and durable and come with rubber strips, which prevent the floor from being slippery and the wood from being in direct contact with humidity.

Water Management

Roof of this sauna is slightly pitched, so all rainwater automatically flows to the gutter on the back and away through the downspout from there. This ensures no water will be left on the structures to damage the sauna.

This sauna is delivered fully assembled. You will need to arrange a crane or forklift to move the sauna to its place. We will contact you before delivery to discuss all the details

Electrical Requirements

You need 2 lines of electricity for your sauna. First one is 240V/1ph for the sauna heater. The other one is standard 120V/1ph for the lights.

Base

You need to make sure that you have a leveled and sturdy base for your sauna. You have to also consider where the water goes through the drain depending on the location of the sauna. Auroom recommends placing the cabin on a concrete slab.
