SaunaLife G11 8-Person Outdoor Sauna Cabin Kit

Build a clubhouse of heat and steam with the SaunaLife G11 Sauna Kit. This kit comes with all the materials needed to construct an 8-person cabin.

The G11 features a split design, with one half serving as the sauna room and the other half as a changing room. Both are spacious and cozy, giving room to spread out and take breaks as needed. A built-in front porch offers extra space to relax with an integrated table and chairs. There’s even a place to store wood if you opt for a wood-burning stove.

The cabin’s exterior is made of thick ThermoSpruce staves that lock the sauna environment in and the weather out. These staves are exceptionally durable against the elements and keep a sturdy structure year after year. The black shingle roof adds an extra layer of weather resistance, gently guiding rain and snow away from the sauna door.

A two-tier L-bench wraps around the sauna, providing plenty of room to enjoy sessions with friends and family. These benches are built from silky ThermoAspen for a soft skin-feel that encourages bathers to sit back and relax.

The gravity-based ventilation system keeps the sauna comfortable with a steady flow of oxygen-rich air. The sauna’s rectangular back window can also open and close for an extra dose of ventilation and speedier sauna drying.

This kit is complete with a collection of tempered glass windows that let in natural light for a rustic ambient experience.

The G11 offers a unique sauna design, expanding the iconic barrel sauna into a full spa space.

  • 42mm ThermoSpruce Walls - Thick ThermoSpruce staves create the cabin's shape, offering reliable heat management through every season.
  • ThermoAspen Bench & Backrest - The large ThermoAspen L-bench gives plenty of space to spread out, offering comfortable seating for up to eight bathers.
  • Attached Changing Room - Perfect for breaks and getting sauna-ready, the attached changing room offers extra space complete with its own L-bench.
  • Built-In Patio - The sauna’s patio features a table and chair set for short breaks and quick snacks.
  • Lockable Wooden Door - The G11’s door is lockable, ensuring you have complete control over who gets into your sauna. This door is also equipped with a set of three circular windows.
  • Front & Rear Windows - The sauna room has two windows for nature-watching while you steam. The rear window can be opened and doubles as a drying vent.
  • Black Shingle Roof - The full shingle roof moves falling rain and melting snow away from the sauna entrance, keeping your back safe from cold drips. These shingles are supported by a roofing underlay for extra insulation and protection.
  • Integrated Ventilation - The built-in sauna vents provide a steady stream of fresh air, encouraging long sessions in the heat and steam.
  • Dimmable LED Lighting - Dimmable LED lighting gives you control over the mood of each session. This sauna comes with lights for the backrest, bench, cove, and exterior.
Assembly & Installation

The SaunaLife G11 Cabin requires assembly and finishing. In addition to this kit, you will need:

  • A stable, level foundation - The sauna must sit on a level, stable foundation.
  • Heater Package - Pick up a complete heater kit to finish your build. This sauna can support electric heaters (not included).
  • Certified Electrician - You will need a certified electrician to help with the wiring for the sauna heater, controller, lighting, and any other wired accessories.
  • Building Permits - Check with your local building department for any building permits and safety requirements needed before construction.

Read through all Installation Manuals, Diagrams, and Care Instructions before assembly.

  • The SaunaLife G11 Sauna has a flat shipping rate of $1990 for deliveries within the 48 contiguous states.
  • These Saunas ship directly from our Illinois warehouse via flatbed truck.
  • Shipping times vary depending on inventory levels and delivery location. If there are any delays in shipping, we will reach out to you directly with the new projected arrival date.

Cancellations

We will issue a 100% refund on orders canceled within 4 business days or before the order has shipped - whichever deadline arrives first. If an order is canceled after, there will be a 3% cancellation fee. Please reach out to our support team if you need to cancel your order after it has shipped.

Returns

Our saunas include a 30-day return policy.

You can return this product if:

  • You initiate your return within 30 days of product delivery date.
  • The product is unused and in its original packaging.
  • Installation has not been attempted.

If these requirements are met, your return will be accepted. However, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. After we receive the return and it has been inspected at our warehouse, we will refund your original payment method in accordance with the policy listed above.

SaunaLife G11 Construction

SaunaLife G11 is made out of thermo-spruce. Spruce is the most common sauna wood in Finland. Thermo means the wood has undergone a thermal modification process to withstand high temperatures. Spruce can last 2x as long as cedar when exposed to harsh outdoor environments combined with changing sauna temperatures.

The seating is made out of knotless thermo-Aspen which is 1.1” thick and is also known as the best wood for sauna seats. Aspen has low thermal conductivity (doesn't get too hot to sit in) and silk smooth appearance (comfortable).

The interior flooring, walls, ceiling and exterior table/benches are made out of Thermo-Pine which is known to be durable and aesthetically pleasing, providing a bit of contrast between the aspen benches.

Setting up

The G11 Sauna Cabin Kit arrives via flatbed truck. The driver is responsible for delivery only and will provide limited assistance at the site. A forklift or crane are required to transport this kit. Delivery happens by special appointment, allowing you to set the date and time to work with your schedule.

The shipping crate is 16.4' L × 3.93' D × 3.93' H and weighs 3196 lbs.

Your electrical requirements will heavily depend on which heater you choose to install in your sauna kit as well as accessories like lighting.
