This sauna arrives on a wooden pallet and is encased in wood for solid protection. Offloading and transport of this product will require special equipment. The driver is responsible for “delivery only” and will provide limited assistance at the site. Prior to shipping this product, we contact customers to share shipment details & needs, and discuss any extenuating delivery circumstances that may complicate or cause additional delivery expenses. Our goal is to ensure your project’s success.

Exterior structure of the Hele Mini sauna is made from Cross-Laminated-Timber (CLT) panels and Glue-Laminated-Timber (Glulam) posts. These are advanced engineered wood products increasingly popular in modern construction, due to their thermal insulation, structural integrity, moisture resistance, aesthetic appeal, and sustainability. Interior is made out of Thermo-Alder or Aspen, based on your own choice.

Haljas Hele Mini Construction

Exterior of this sauna is made with CLT panels. CLT panels are made from layers of solid-sawn lumber that are stacked crosswise at 90-degree angles and glued together. This cross-lamination provides excellent structural rigidity and stability. CLT panels provide excellent thermal insulation, moisture resistance, and aesthetic appeal.

Horizontal beams and vertical support columns are Glulam posts. Glulam posts can support substantial loads, making them ideal for the structural framework of a sauna. Glulam is made by bonding together individual layers of lumber with durable moisture-resistant adhesive.

Interior of this sauna is made with Thermo-Alder or Aspen. Thermo-Alder has a very rich and elegant brown color which creates a warm atmosphere in the sauna. Alder is water-repellent, long-lasting and doesn’t overheat in the sauna. Aspen is a great fit for saunas as it doesn’t overheat or secrete resin. Aspen has a beautiful light color that leaves a clean look.

Haljas Hele Mini Glass Sauna Details

Panoramic View

Double-glazed tempered mirror glass is the trademark of Haljas saunas. This mirror glass does not require you to choose between privacy and full glass views. You can have it all, you see from inside to outside, but people outside the sauna only see themselves from the mirror glass.

Mechanical Ventilation

Haljas Hele Mini has mechanical ventilation. There are ventilation machines under the benches that seamlessly make sure that the air flows correctly inside the sauna. This ensures equal temperatures and best possible sauna experience.

Lighting

Hele Mini Comes with LED IP-65 led lighting for both inside and outside of the sauna. You can control the lighting through the UKU sauna control panel. Inside lighting is embedded under the sauna benches. Outside lights are under the glulam posts, and ensure that even in the dark, no one will see inside the sauna.

Setting up

Delivery

This sauna is delivered fully assembled. This sauna arrives on a wooden pallet and is encased in wood for solid protection. You will need something on site that can lift the sauna. The sauna is lifted from stationary hooks on the roof. This sauna weighs 1708.58 lbs without a sauna heater.

Electrical Requirements

You will need electrical connections for the sauna heater according to the sauna heater manufacturers specifications. Contact us with your heater choice and we will check these for you. The sauna will need a standard plug for lights and ventilation to operate.

Foundation

You can place this sauna on a terrace or a balcony. If you want to place it in your yard, the soil underneath the sauna should be removed and replaced with a well-drained and load bearing material (splinters, gravel, sand). Depending on the situation other foundations are allowed (concrete posts, screw pegs). It is important to ensure that the surface is load-bearing, there is enough space for ventilation underneath the sauna and there is water drainage. In addition, it is important to limit the growth of flora underneath and around the sauna in order to minimize any defects from moisture. More information on the handbook.
