This sauna arrives on a wooden pallet and is encased in wood for solid protection. Offloading and transport of this product will require special equipment. Exterior of the sauna is made from Thermo-Spruce. Thermo-Spruce provides superior resistance to inclement weather, longevity, and dimensional stability, finished in elegant black color. Front of the sauna has double-glazed tempered glass windows and a door. Door handle is made from natural oak and stainless steel for a luxurious and solid feel.

Interior features are Alder for the floor grate and furniture-grade Thermo-Aspen for smooth finish and sitting comfort in a hot and humid environment.

Saunum AirCube Space Construction

This sauna has been constructed with the finest materials available, adhering to Finnish sauna standards. The exterior is made from Thermo-Spruce that has been painted black, offering superior resistance to inclement weather, longevity, and dimensional stability. The double-glazed tempered glass front provides views of your environment and makes the sauna feel spacious without sacrificing thermal efficiency. Natural Oak and stainless steel door handles offer a luxurious, solid feel when you enter your bathing space.

The interior of this sauna features integrated Bluetooth speakers, indirect dimmable LED lights, and an I-shaped bench. Inside the Saunum AirCube sauna, you will be sitting on furniture-grade Thermo-Aspen, which ensures a comfortable, cool sitting area. Thermo-Aspen is ideal for sauna benches due to its low thermal conductivity, ensuring it does not get too hot. This sauna also includes PVC subflooring and insulated walls. The flooring and drainage system ensure that liquids are efficiently removed from the sauna. Insulated walls minimize external noise, providing a peaceful bathing experience.

You will need a crane or a forklift on site for unloading this sauna from the truck. This sauna has a shipping weight of 3637 lbs. Size of the sauna box in shipping is 113"L x 87.8"W x 98.8"H.

Electrical Requirements

You will need a 120V electrical line for the lights and 240V electrical line for the sauna heater. Circuit breaker sizes depend on the exact sauna heater you select. See the electrical connections manual here.

Base & Preparations

The base or foundation for the Sauna must be leveled and stable. Sauna must be at least 3 inches higher from the surrounding ground. All base beams must have a support under them. Most people place these on a concrete slab, if they have a deck that will support it, that is an option too.

We recommend placing the Sauna on concrete blocks or strips that have compressed gravel underneath. Using geotextile under the Sauna prevents the growth of grass and weeds. It is also possible to place the Sauna on a terrace or pavement, but the Sauna should still be higher than the surface. Look into the installation manual here.
