Description

Forte Series, 6.5kW Sauna Heater Digital Control

Harvia Forte is an always-ready sauna heater. If you use your sauna frequently and don’t want to wait for the sauna to heat up when you decide it’s time to take a bath, the Forte series sauna heater is the choice for you. Just lift the cover and your sauna is ready.

Modern appearance hides a heat-insulated stone space that keeps the stone hot. Forte/AF series sauna heater is always safe to use, thanks to its advanced safety features. If you forget the lid open, the heater will turn off automatically after a while. Forte is also very energy efficient because it’s well insulated.

With the Forte's digital Xafir control, you can adjust the heater's features, manage energy usage, and control the steam. Operation is easy from the heat and moisture-resistant control panel, which can be installed inside the sauna. You can adjust the stone space temperature from energy-saving mode (Lo) to sauna mode (Hi).

Please note: requires a minimum of 220bs of stones (5 boxes) sold separately.

Harvia sauna products come with 1-year limited warranty (if not noted otherwise in this page). Warranty includes all heater parts such as heating elements, controls and contactors.

This warranty covers faults in manufacture and material. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear, defects caused by improper installation, poor maintenance, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation, use and care, or alterations made to the product.

This warranty is void if heater is used improperly. This warranty is void if installation and wiring is not carried out by a certified electrician or authorized and qualified service representative.

Ok but previous was better

We had a predecessor model that had served us for over twenty years, which I decided to replace before it breaks. Otherwise, it worked well, but the timer clock made quite a buzzing sound. However, we didn't really need it as the heater was so generously sized that 100kg of steaming-hot stones were sufficient for our 7m^3 sauna. The installation of the new heater went relatively smoothly. Positioned above the steam room, you can nicely see the heater from the outside, and its use is quite intuitive. The instruction booklet seemed somewhat confusing, but fortunately, it wasn't really needed. The installation of the new heater went relatively painlessly. The heater itself also looks and feels neat and of good quality. Now for the disappointments. The predecessor had a butterfly valve at the bottom, which allowed for adjusting the air flowing through the heater. With positions 1/3-1/2 open, it produced nicely moist and soothing steam. The new one has no such adjustment, so it's always on full blast after opening the door, resulting in hot and dry steam, the kind that has given electric heaters a bad reputation. While you can somewhat influence this with the temperature control, it's not as effective. Likewise, either due to poorer insulation or the continuously open bottom door, our sauna is now 6-8 degrees warmer when not in use compared to the old one. This heater also has its own sound, a hum from the mains power. In any case, it beats the basic heater hands down. It's lovely to wake up in the morning and go straight to the sauna from bed. And to end the day in the sauna. The order and delivery from The Sauna Heater went first class. Just as it should. However, the product was a disappointment. You would have thought the replacement would be better than its predecessor, but unfortunately, this is not the case.

Harvia Legend Greenflame is designed for sauna rooms 353 to 843 adjusted cubic feet. If your sauna is bigger than this or made out of cold materials like stone, you need a bigger heater. This is why we always contact the customers before shipping, but since your heater was purchased before we opened our store, this purchase is not made through us. We’re sorry about your bad experience with Legend and would recommend consulting a professional and getting a bigger heater to ensure the most enjoyable bathing experience!
