Garden-Series 4 Person Outdoor Sauna Kit
SaunaLife G4 is a DIY outdoor sauna kit, with 2-levels of benches. Benches are located on the back wall of the sauna. Sauna heater will be placed on the front side.
You can fit 4 people on the upper bench level. You can have up to 6 people in the sauna at once, if few sit on the lower level. However, we would call this a 4 person sauna.
SaunaLife G4 is made in Estonia. Structure is made out of Nordic Spruce, while the benches inside the sauna are Aspen. This sauna has 2 tempered glass windows and a lockable door. You can build this DIY sauna either way, so the window can be placed on either the left or right side of the sauna.
This sauna is designed to withstand harsh weather conditions. This sauna has a slightly sloped roof with an asphalt mat. This ensures the water will drip down and won’t stay on the roof of the sauna.
SaunaLife G4 is constructed like outdoor cabins with interlocking exterior spruce wall sections that fit tightly together. Base of the SaunaLife G4 extends to the front of the sauna, creating a small porch.
When it comes to lighting, this sauna has dimmable led lights installed behind the backrest. You will have a remote control to control the lights, or additionally you can handle the controlling through an app on your phone, as long as there’s a WiFi connection on the sauna area.
SaunaLife G4 sauna comes in as a DIY kit. This means the sauna construction materials are delivered to you in a wooden crate and you have to put the sauna together yourself. You have to make a level surface under the sauna. You can place the sauna onto your yard or in your balcony or terrace for example. This sauna weighs 1650 lbs.
You will need a 240V line for the placement of your sauna for the sauna heater (in case you choose electric sauna heater) and a 120V line for the lights. You can get a better idea of the installation from the installation manual.
Structures of the SaunaLife G4 are made out of Nordic Spruce. Benches inside the sauna are made from Aspen. Spruce is the most common sauna wood in saunas birthplace Finland, thanks to its ability to withstand harsh weather conditions. Aspen is used in the benches, because it stays rather cool in a hot sauna environment and is the most comfortable wood to sit in.
SaunaLife saunas come in standard with gently illuminating dotless LED sauna lighting. You can control the lights through an app on your phone, or from the remote control that can be placed on the outside wall of the sauna. Lights are dimmable.
SaunaLife officially recommends a 10.5kW sauna heater for SaunaLife G4 outdoor sauna. However, based on our own experience with previous customers, we recommend a 12kW sauna heater when going with an electric sauna heater.

Something to note when it comes to your sauna heater choice, is that we recommend you to get the weather proof electrical enclosures for your control panel and the electrical module, when you go with a sauna heater that has external controls. These enclosures ensure that no matter how harsh the conditions get, your electrical equipment will be protected. If you place your sauna under a deck or the sauna won't otherwise be exposed to weather conditions, you won't need these accessories.

Sauna Gear 302 is the electrical enclosure for your main module, mounted on the back of your barrel sauna.
SaunaLife G4 can be equipped with a wood-fired sauna heater as well.

For treating the outside wood of your sauna, you can apply SaunaLife Sauna Wax. You will also be able to modify the color of your sauna with the sauna wax, when choosing other than standard clear color for it.
You can treat your sauna benches with SaunaLife Sauna Paraffin Oil, and protect them from moisture, dirt, and humidity by applying the oil.
Keep your sauna clean with SaunaLife Sauna Cleaner, specifically designed to be used with SaunaLife saunas wood materials.
When it comes to throwing water onto your sauna heater, to create steam (löyly), you can get either SaunaLife Accessory Package 5 (includes Bucket, Ladle, Hygrometer and Thermometer, Black) or SaunaLife Accessory Package 6 (includes Sauna Bucket Set with Wood Ladle and Thermometer either black or white).
