Harvia Wood Burning Stoves

When installing a wood stove, consider the following factors:

• You will need to install a chimney.
• Wood stoves get really hot. Especially the bottom of the sauna heater, where the fire chamber is located, will be extremely hot. This means you will need to place protective bedding under the heater to prevent burning your floor.
• You will need to ensure each stove's specific safety distances to combustible materials are met. This means, unless you want to burn your sauna, you need to leave some room between your wooden sauna structures and the stove.

Complete packages in this collection include a chimney kit, a protective floor plate, and a heat shield that can be placed around the heater.

There's something special about wood-burning saunas. The atmospheric light of the blazing flame, the scent of wood, and the pleasant hum from burning wood relax your mind and take you away from the everyday rush.

The first sauna heater ever made by Harvia, 75 years ago, was a wood-burning one. And Harvia hasn't stopped innovating ever since. Thus, we can confidently recommend the heaters in this collection.
