Auroom offers 3 different outdoor sauna kits: Aura, Mira S, and Mira L.

Aura and Mira S are small saunas that can fit 2 bathers at once. Mira S has a smaller footprint of 28 ft² while the Aura has a footprint of 32.6 ft². This means these models can fit well into smaller backyards.

Mira L is the big brother of these two. Auroom says it can fit up to 5 people at once, but based on our tests this would mean you’re literally sitting on each other. In Finnish sauna standards, we would be comfortable calling this a 3 person sauna. Mira L has a footprint of 52 ft².

With leveled benches and beautiful design, you can’t go wrong with any of these saunas. If you have the extra space and ability to invest, we would recommend going with Mira L even if you’re using it alone most of the time. The ability to lay down and a bit of extra space never hurts your sauna experience! Just as driving alone doesn’t mean you need to drive with a 2-door car, bathing alone doesn’t mean 1 person sauna offers the best experience 😌

Prebuild Outdoor Saunas

We have been a part of thousands of sauna builds, some virtually and others on site. Building a sauna is a rewarding and fun project. However, it takes time and effort. Most sauna bathers just want a sauna to bathe in, not a building project.

That’s where the prebuilds come in. Prebuilt traditional saunas are always pricy and no wonder: transporting a whole building from one place to another is costly. Additionally we see a lot of cases, where the access to your desired sauna location is really tight. Sometimes moving a full sauna there (think lifting over a house with a crane or lifting with helicopter to a rooftop terrace) is not possible or would cost another fortune. Therefore, most opt into a kit.

  • Garda - our favorite from this lineup. Large windows give natural light to the cabin while either of the available bench layouts create a social environment when used by many sauna goers at once. Leveled benches and optimal bench to ceiling distance ensure bathers can enjoy the steam.

 

  • Terra M - Proper building which has a changing room and a sauna. Really beautiful design and social bench setting.

 

  • Arti - Simple layout with bench on the backwall. Optimal for up to 3 bathers at once. Nice porch and well thought out lighting solutions both inside and outside the cabin.

 

  • Natura - Heavy duty building with a changing room. Large windows in the sauna, and the changing room ensure natural light and spacious feeling.
