Proper ventilation is essential for removing CO2, pathogens and equalising the temperature inside your sauna. Most sauna kits lack this.
We created a state-of-the-art mechanical ventilation system.
Mechanical intake vent brings the oxygen rich air right to the heater, mixing it to the rising airflow - allowing longer, more confortable long lasting sessions without the effects of CO2 buildup.
Mechanical exhaust vent equalises temperatures inside your sauna while removing CO2 build up. It also dries your sauna effectively after usage increasing its lifespan.
Loyly Original has dimmable LED lights behind backrests (running both under and above the backrest) and a light strip installed under the upper bench. The light kit of Loyly includes a separate remote controller. In total, Loyly Original has 60 Ft. of led light strip installed inside.
Front of the sauna will be illuminated with 3 LED lights installed under the overhang. These lights illuminate the sauna nicely when it’s dark and ensure privacy glass works even during the night.
In order to have a real sauna experience your body needs to be positioned in ‘Löyly Tasku’ as the Finns call it. Löyly pocket is an area above the upper stones of the sauna heater, where temperature is very equal across the entire area. There’s also Löyly a.k.a steam surrounding your entire body in this area.
That’s why as in any real sauna, you sit above the upper stones of the sauna heater in Loyly Original. You’re in Loyly Pocket.
Building a sauna the proper way ensures you will get a löyly buffer. This is the space above your door that blocks the best hot steamy air from exiting the sauna when the door is opened. If your sauna doesn’t have a löyly buffer, it’s not an authentic Finnish sauna.
Loyly has 2 windows and a door in front made out of dark privacy class. How privacy glass works is that sauna goers can see the outside world, while the outsiders only see a reflection of the surroundings and themselves when trying to look inside the sauna.
In order to prevent mold, rot, and decay build up, sauna designers need to focus on the management of liquids and humidity sauna going generates.
Loyly original has a floor that has been sloped to lead into a drainage channel running in the middle of the sauna under the benches. This combined with mechanical ventilation is how we get rid of all the excess water accumulating in the floor.
While the roof is flat from the inside, the outer roof has been sloped. Additionally, you will apply x material to the outer roof. This ensures all the water runs away from the sauna, and you won’t experience any water damage even if it’s raining hard.
