Kohler C1 Construction

The Kohler C1 Indoor Sauna is built from premium Scandinavian spruce, used for both the interior and exterior walls to create a warm, inviting atmosphere with exceptional durability. Each wall panel connects using tongue-and-groove joinery, giving the cabin a clean, seamless appearance while ensuring long-term structural stability. A 2.1-inch layer of mineral wool insulation is placed between the wall sections to support strong heat retention and maintain consistent interior temperatures. The sauna’s modern aesthetic is complemented by a tempered glass door and windows, providing clarity and strength, while beech wood handles stay comfortable to the touch.

Designed for flexibility, the C1 accommodates both freestanding and alcove installations, requiring only minimal wall and ceiling clearance. The kit includes precisely fabricated front frame panels, side walls, rear walls, ceiling elements, and a bottom frame that align cleanly during assembly, making the build process approachable for DIY users. Inside, the obeche wood benches and backrest offer a smooth, low-heat surface ideal for sauna use, and the overall construction maintains a sturdy, well-fitted feel that supports years of reliable enjoyment.

You will get sauna crates/pallets delivered to your yard when you order this sauna. The delivery driver will be responsible for curbside delivery and will lower the items to ground level.

Electrical Requirements

You need 2 lines of electricity for your sauna. First one is 240V/1ph for the sauna heater. The other one is standard 120V/1ph for the lights.

Base

You need to make sure that you have a leveled and sturdy base for your sauna. You have to also consider where the water goes through the drain depending on the location of the sauna.
