Scandia 40K BTU Gas Sauna Heater

Bring lasting heat and soothing steam to your sauna cabin with the Scandia 40K BTU Gas Sauna Heater. This reliable unit uses ultra-durable steel and precise mechanics to deliver consistent temperatures up to 185℉. A user-friendly timer lets you customize each session’s heat and duration, making it easy to create the perfect sauna environment.

The heater’s 75 lb. stone capacity builds lasting heat stability and gives the option to infuse each session with warm soft steam. These stones are included with the heater for a convenient, all-in-one kit.

There are several custom configurations to choose from, helping you get the perfect setup for your build. These include: fuel type, ignition system, and vent direction.*

This heater is made in the USA and supports saunas ranging from 84 ft3 - 616 ft3 with ceilings under 8 ft high.

*Discuss these options with your contractor before purchasing. This heater must be installed by a licensed HVAC professional.

Note: If your exterior wall is thicker than 5.5", you will need a gas extension kit with your heater.

Ignition Options

This heater has two ignition systems available: standing pilot light or piezo ignition system.

  • Standing Pilot Light - The traditional gas heater ignition system. This method uses a small flame that burns continuously and ignites the gas when the heater is turned on. It requires a small amount of gas to keep the light burning, but its time-tested reliability is unmatched.
  • Piezo Ignition System - A modern alternative to the standing pilot light. The piezo ignition system generates a spark via an electric current, no standing flame required. While there’s no continuous gas draw, this system does require D batteries for operation.

Sizing

The Scandia 40K BTU Sauna Heater is recommended for saunas ranging from 84 - 616 ft3 (adj.).

  • You must calculate your sauna’s Adjusted Cubic Feet to choose the right heater size. This accounts for cold surfaces like glass, tile, and natural rock wall segments.

Shipping
  • Scandia sauna heaters ship from Idaho as LTL freight.
  • It will take approximately 1 week for your heater to arrive depending on where you live. If there are any delays in shipping, we will reach out to you directly with the new projected arrival date.

Cancellations

We will issue a 100% refund on orders canceled before the order ships. If an order is canceled after it has shipped, there will be a 20% restocking fee and return shipping fees. Please reach out to our support team if you need to cancel your order after it has shipped.

Returns

Our heaters include a 14-day return policy.

You can return this product if:

  • You initiate your return within 14 days of product delivery date.
  • The product is unused.
  • Installation has not been attempted.
  • The product is in the original box with the manufacturer's packaging and information.

If these requirements are met, your return will be accepted. However, you will be responsible for the return shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee. After we receive the return and it has been inspected at our warehouse, we will refund the card you used for your purchase in accordance with the policy listed above.
