HUUM Hive Flow Wood Burning Sauna Stove

HUUM Hive Flow is the newest sauna heater on HUUMs collection. What’s unique about the HUUM Flow is its furnaces patent-pending design. The air Flows inside this heater in a unique pattern that allows 75% of the heat generated from the firewood to directly heat up your sauna, rather than escape through the chimney. Compared to traditional sauna stoves, you have to use less firewood in the process of heating up your sauna. This makes the HUUM Flow not only environmentally friendly but also the most economical sauna stove on the market.

You can choose between the standard HIVE Flow and the HIVE Flow LS. The LS version features an extended firebox - about 4.7 inches longer for added convenience and flexibility in installation.

This product ships on a wooden pallet for free from Tennessee. It takes 1-2 business days for the product to be shipped out and depending on where you live, around a week for the pallet to arrive. This product is currently in stock.

Equal Heat & Steam

Best sauna heaters have high rock capacity. Furnace heats up the rocks, and the rocks themselves radiate the pleasant and equal heat to the sauna. That’s why HUUM Hive Flow carries a massive 330 lbs of sauna stones.

Prolonged Warmth

Enjoy the heat & steam even 30 minutes after the fire has extinguished, thanks to the equally heated stones acting as heat reservoirs.

Authentic Atmosphere

Large glass door on the furnace creates a cozy ambiance on the sauna. Enjoy the mesmerizing flames dancing on the fire chamber while enjoying the most equal sauna heat offered by any wood stove.

Chimney Options

HUUM Hive Flow was designed with two separate chimney connections. You can connect the chimney to the back of the heater in order to embed it through the wall. Alternatively, you can go with the traditional option and connect the chimney on top of the stove and go through the roof. Setting up

Delivery

The size & weight of the Hive Flow requires a delivery on a wooden pallet. This stove ships from Chicago. Delivery driver will schedule a delivery appointment with you a few days prior to delivery. Our free shipping is a curbside only delivery. Driver will lower the item to the ground and drop it to your curb with limited assistance on site. For white glow options, contact us for a quote.

Safety Considerations

All sauna stoves require a protective bedding to be placed under the heater. The bottom gets extremely hot, so it’s mandatory to protect the floor.
You need to leave a 5.9” cap for all combustible materials on all sides of the heater. You can reduce the safety distance with a protective shield. If the surrounding areas are not combustible, you need to still leave a small cap for airflow (heat distribution).
19.7” safety distance required from the top of the stove to the roof of the sauna.

Sauna Sizing

HUUM Hive Flow works for sauna rooms from 282 - 635 cubic feet. You can get an idea about your saunas cubic feet size by simply calculating width x length x height. Contact us to get help with sizing your sauna heater.

You will need to purchase the stones for this sauna heater separately.

As mentioned earlier, you will need to place a protective bedding under your sauna heater. You can get the official HUUM protective bedding from us, or build it yourself. We also offer through the wall chimney kits, and through the roof chimney kits by HUUM.

If you go through the roof chimney kit, you can consider adding in 1 or 2 stone cages to hide the chimney and increase the rock capacity of your sauna heater. This accessory is placed around the chimney and filled with HUUM stones.

You can use HUUM reflective H around the stove if you want to reduce the safety distances needed to the flammable materials. You can also get the floor protective plate to place in front of the fire chamber in case you have a wooden floor on the sauna that you want to protect.

Lastly, you can check out buckets and ladles to enhance your sauna experience, the best sauna air comes from throwing the water onto the heater. We love löyly (Finnish word for steam forming when you throw water onto the heater)!
