This sauna will be delivered to your curbside as a DIY kit. Here’re some important things to account for when considering the placement of this barrel sauna:

1. You want to have a leveled surface under the barrel sauna. You can place the sauna on concrete blocks or strips that have compressed gravel underneath. You can use geotextile under the sauna to prevent the growth of any grass. Sauna can also be placed on your terrace or balcony. Just make sure you have a leveled surface under the sauna that can handle the weight.

2. You need an electrical line for your sauna heater to the placement of the sauna. Most sauna heaters require 240V. 

3. You will need a 120V electrical line for the lights of this sauna.

4. Constructing the sauna yourself is simple if you’re a handyman. You can get a good idea of the installation from the installation manual.

5. All sauna heaters require the electrical work to be performed by a certified electrician.
