This 5-person hand-crafted outdoor sauna cabin provides a luxurious experience with its premium materials. The interior is made out of furniture-quality alder, which is highlighted by indirect dimmable LED lighting. Showcasing the interior on the front of the cabin is a full-wall-sized dual-pane picture window and the side of the cabin matches the cabin ambiance with a full-height, dual-pane glass door. The painted spruce on the outside contrasts the lighter alder interior beautifully and ties the whole cabin nicely together.

Placing the sauna cabin

  • The foundation of the sauna cabin must be level and stable
  • Place the sauna at least 3 inches higher from the surrounding ground
  • It is recommended that concrete blocks or strips that have compressed gravel are placed underneath
  • To prevent the growth of grass or weeds under the cabin, place geotextile under the sauna cabin.
  • You can also place the sauna on a terrace or pavement but still keep the cabin higher than the surface.

 

The final assembly is the only thing that must be done post-delivery, which includes installing:

  • Parapet metal on the roof
  • Decorative base boards
  • Outdoor lights 120V
  • Heater (+ control unit)
  • Rainwater system
  • Cables
  • Electrical cabinet for lighting

 

If you wish to move your sauna, there are two options:

  1. Lifting from above, using the hooks in each corner of the sauna located on the roof.
  2. Lifting from below, using a forklift while being aware of the drainage pipe underneath the sauna.

Construction of SaunaLife G6

The exterior of the Saunalife G6 sauna cabin is handcrafted in Northern Europe (Finland, Estonia), where sauna bathing is a daily ritual for millions, ensuring the quality of the materials being used and also how they are used.

The exterior is made out of fine-sawn, painted spruce. Spruce is the most used material for saunas in Finland, where the sauna was born. The walls are insulated and have a massive 7-1/16” thickness, along with the window and door being dual-pane and insulated, ensuring maximum thermal efficiency and noise reduction for the entire cabin.

The interior is made of alder which is one of the best in absorbing and releasing moisture. That is important since if it doesn’t release the moisture well, the wood will crack or warp over time. Alder is also excellent in keeping the temperature of the wood low, meaning you won’t burn yourself when sitting down in the sauna. Pairing the non-visible fasteners in the interior with alder gives the whole interior a neat and minimalistic appearance.

The Saunalife G6 comes with adjustable LED lighting that can be controlled on your phone or on the remote controller which can be put for example in front of the sauna. The LED lights that are located behind the backrest and under the top bench provide an ambient feel to the sauna experience. The LED lighting is heat and waterproof (IP67).

This sauna is delivered fully assembled. It is encased in wood for solid protection. It arrives on a flatbed truck. This sauna never leaves the truck bed after it’s loaded on the warehouse before it arrives to your yard, which means that the sauna getting damaged during transportation is extremely rare. Shipping is fully insured.

The sauna protected in wood is is 86"L x 98"W x 100"H. You will have to arrange a forklift or other suitable machinery on site to move the sauna from the bed of the truck to your desired location. We will contact you before shipping out the sauna to discuss the delivery in detail and find out what the circumstances are in your delivery location.

This sauna weighs 2756 lbs.
