This heater’s beehive-inspired cage holds 551 lbs. of stone to deliver lasting heat to your sauna sessions. The minimalist steel frame optimizes airflow, working with the included air tunnel to efficiently warm the stones while extending the life of the heating elements.
The HUUM HIVE stands directly on wooden floors and can be embedded into the sauna benches to fit custom layouts. The open-air design encourages water-pouring, giving you the power to create the perfect sauna steam. This heater supports saunas from 424 - 636 ft3 (adj.), reaching temperatures up to 230℉ for the hottest sessions.
The HUUM HIVE 12kW Electric Sauna Heater requires stones, an UKU controller, and an UKU extension box* for operation. Browse the Suitable Accessories tab above to find these items as well as other personalization pieces like safety rails and embedding flanges.
*A HUUM UKU Extension Box is required for 12kW HUUM heaters and up.

The HUUM HIVE brings exceptional heat and steam to create the optimal environment for rest and relaxation in your sauna. The minimalist design empowers the stones with top-tier airflow, bringing gentler steam for a pleasant sauna experience.
The massive stone amount of HUUM Hive requires it to be shipped on a wooden pallet. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped out. All our shipments are fully insured. HUUM products are shipped from Chicago. The pallet will be delivered to your curbside. Carrier will call you to set up the delivery of the pallet before delivery. Shipping is free. For white glow delivery or express shipping options, contact us.
HUUM Hive will require 240V/1PH electrical line. In case you want to wire with 208V, the power output will go down by 25%. You will need a 2 x 30 Amp circuit breaker and your electrician needs to use wire size 10+10 AWG. You can see the wiring diagram for the system here.
