Built for reliable heat stability, this heater holds a massive 551 lb. stone capacity that supports long sessions in saunas ranging from 636 - 989 ft3 (adj.). The open-air cage design encourages water-pouring and gives you total control over the quality of the steam and humidity levels.
An integrated air tunnel works with the heater’s natural airflow to help your sauna reach temperatures up to 230℉ while prolonging the lifespan of the stones. This heater is safe for direct contact with wooden, tile, and stone floors and can support communal sauna sessions in gyms and spas.
The HUUM HIVE 18kW Electric Sauna Heater requires stones, an UKU controller, and an UKU extension box* for operation. Browse the Suitable Accessories tab above to find these items as well as other personalization pieces like safety rails and embedding flanges.
*A HUUM UKU Extension Box is required for HUUM heaters that require 12kW and up.

The HUUM Hive brings exceptional heat and steam to create the optimal environment for rest and relaxation in your sauna. The minimalist design empowers the stones with top-tier airflow, bringing gentler steam for a pleasant sauna experience.
The massive stone amount of HUUM Hive requires it to be shipped on a wooden pallet. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped out. All our shipments are fully insured. HUUM products are shipped from Chicago. The pallet will be delivered to your curbside. Carrier will call you to set up the delivery of the pallet before delivery. Shipping is free. For white glow delivery or express shipping options, contact us.
HUUM Hive will require 240V/1PH electrical line. In case you want to wire with 208V, the power output will go down by 25%. You will need a 2 x 50 Amp circuit breaker and your electrician needs to use wire size 6+6 AWG. You can see the wiring diagram for the system here.
