Bring iconic sauna bench style to your build with Thermory’s 1”x4” SHP Alder Bench Wood. A unique combination of reddish tones and subtle woodgrain, Alder is a classic choice for sauna design. Its silky smooth texture is comfortable on the skin, keeping you relaxed through long sessions in the heat and steam.
This wood is available in two finishes: natural and thermally-modified. Natural Alder holds a pale tone and uses its innate heat and moisture resistance for lasting stability in the sauna environment. Thermally-modified Alder is heat-treated to amplify the wood’s natural durability and create a darker, deeper tone.
These boards are available in lengths ranging from 5’ - 10’ to help you get the perfect fit for your build.
Thermory 1”x4” SHP Alder Bench Wood is sold in 5-piece bundles. We do not sell boards individually.
Note: Thermory wood is measured in metric lengths. The imperial foot lengths above are approximate. The actual wood length will be slightly shorter. We recommend you order at least one length up to get the right fit for your build.
